I sure do love these boots. My mom got them for me at a real live antique store in Southern New Mexico, so, they're really old, like, really...And, they were my "something old" for my wedding. Yay.

I am still, absolutely, amazed that these giant plants have grown from tiny seeds that I planted! Now, if the sun would quit burning all the little baby zucchinis....

Well, here I am again...apologizing for another late post. This time, two weeks late! It's been a busy summer already, with no signs of slowing down. So, this is how it will just have to be.

Stella (right) got to meet her cousin Max (left) a few weeks ago. They are best friends, just like we knew they would be!

We planted seeds in our little garden about 3 weeks ago...it is unbelievable to me that I can actually grow vegetables and fruits from seeds! These are little zucchini plants...I think every zucchini seed we planted has sprouted...7 zucchini plants is WAY too many. We also have watermelon, cucumber, and several other unknown veggies sprouting (being the genius that I am, I didn't bother to label any of them...oh well!). Can't wait for fresh veggies!

I spend probably 15 minutes a day looking for new sprouts--keep in mind that our beds are only 4 feet by 6 feet...that's an awful lot of meticulous inspection!
